By definition, Limelight is a type of stage lighting once used in theatres and music halls. When an oxyhydrogen flame is directed at a cylinder of quicklime, an intense illumination is created. The technique was replaced by electric lighting in the 19th century, but the term survives as someone at the center of attention is still said to be “in the limelight.” That’s where we put our clients.
